Blog Post #5: What really Hard Things Are Happening? "INVITATION ONLY"

     In the book, Invitation Only by Kate Brian there are difficult things happening in the book,  Those difficulties can relate with things that happen in the world and difficulties that people face in their lives.  One difficulties is not being able to fit in.  Another difficulties is being taken advantage of.  The last difficulties that is going on in the book is that someone is missing.  Many people in the world can relate to this book and the difficulties that are discussed and portrayed  in it.  I think that the book is trying to touch on topics that are difficulties and problems these days.  I believe that these books show and portray those difficulties very well.

     I think that they book talks a lot about not being able to fit in because these days many people can relate to that difficulty.  Reed is the girl that doesn't fit in until the end.  Her new boyfriend is missing and she feels like it's her fault.  On top of that, the billing girls, the girls in her dorm treat her like a maid.  They told Reed if she wants to be one of them she has to do their work.  Some work that she has to do for them if clean their rooms, wash their clothes and do their homework.  I think that the author chose to use this as one of the difficulties that Reed goes through because many people can read this and know how Reed feels because they have been through it too.

     I believe that the author talks about being taken advantage of as another difficulty because again many people can relate to that and share their experiences with that difficulty.  Many of Reed's friends took advantage of her.  One reason why she is not accepted is because she could not afford the private school.  The only reason she got in the school was because she got a full scholarship.  People make fun of her for having the scholarship and that is one reason why they take advantage of her.  This difficulty can also be related to.

     Lastly, I think that the author added the difficulty of someone being missing because that has happened to many people in the world.  I believe that the author made Reed's boyfriend go missing because it is another difficulty that people can relate too.  That difficulty can also make Reed stronger.  I believe that the author added all of these difficulties because she wants to show people that they can express themselves and show their emotions.

     In conclusion, I believe that these difficulties are important because the author put them there for a purpose.  I believe that they play a major part in the book,  People can relate to all of those difficulties.  Those are the difficult things that are happening in Invitation Only.
