In the book, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe there are many archetypes. For example there are protagonists, there is an antagonist, a mentor, and a shapshifter. They protagonists would be Lucy, Susie, Peter and Edmund. The antagonist would be the White Witch. The shapeshifter would me Edmund. The mentor would be Aslan, the lion.
I believe that the protagonist are Lucy, Susie, Edmund, and Peter. I think that because they are the ones that really save Narnia and in the end they all became kings and queens. Without them, Narnia never would have turned back to normal and the White Witch would still be in control of everyone. I would consider Lucy a protagonist because she was the one who first visited Narnia and brought everyone back in there. Also Lucy was the one whop saved Edmund's life, even though she is the younger one. Susie is also one of the protagonists too because she also helped win the battle of Narnia. Peter is a protagonist because he is one of the major people who helped win the battle and he played a mojor part in it. Edmund is also the protagonist because he also helped win the battle and he participated in it too. Those are the protagonists.
I believe the the antagonist is the White Witch. I think that because she is the one that everyone if trying to defeat. The is the "evil queen" of Narnia. To get Narnia back to normal, they have to defeat her. The White Witch is also the antogonist because she is the one that controls and is defeated at the end. That is who the angagonist is.
I think that the mentor is Aslan. I think that because he is looked upon as an almighty lion. People think of him as the king of narnia. Also people believe that he is the one that people believe is going to save Narnia. Also Peter, Edmund, Lucy, and Susie look up to Aslan and depend on him for advice. That is who the mentor is.
Lastly, I think that the shapeshifter is Edmund. I think that because Edmund is the one who kept changing sides. At first he was on the White Witch's side. Then at the end he was on Aslan's and the people of Narnia's side. That is who I think the shapeshifter is.
